Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Westerham, Kent
Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE
Hybrid: 1 day working from home per week

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a busy and growing building services team based in Westerham.

This is a key hire for the business. We need someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of projects and deliver them with minimal supervision. You’ll be trusted with significant residential and commercial schemes, while also helping to support and develop the more junior engineers within the team.

The Role

You’ll take responsibility for electrical design and delivery across a varied portfolio of large-scale residential and commercial projects.

The business has a strong and consistent pipeline of work, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to be involved in substantial schemes from design through to delivery.

As a senior member of the team, you’ll be expected to manage your own workload and projects effectively, reducing the management burden on the wider electrical team.

You’ll also provide guidance and technical support to two junior electrical engineers, helping them develop their technical knowledge and confidence.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in electrical building services design
• Experience across residential and commercial projects
• The ability to independently manage and deliver projects
• Experience working on large-scale schemes
• The confidence to support and mentor junior engineers
• Good working knowledge of CAD and Bluebeam
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Experience with ElectricalOM and DIALux would be advantageous

The business has its own dedicated BIM department, so you won’t be expected to manage the full BIM function, but an understanding of how to work effectively alongside BIM teams is important.
