Senior Electrician

Senior Electrician - Both Commercial & Domestic - Stevenage area - Permanent 

Our Client are a fit out and refurbishment contractor specialising in the healthcare, commercial, and education sectors. As the business continues to expand, they are looking for an experienced electrician with strong knowledge of both commercial and domestic installations.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Carry out electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance works.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with current regulations and contract requirements.
• Accurately complete and manage certification for completed works.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely and to the required standards.
• Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support to site teams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Ensure all safe working practices and procedures are adhered to.
• Support head of electrical to manage NICEIC compliance and registration requirements.
• Liaise with clients and attend site meetings to ensure project progress aligns with programme and expectations.
• Order materials and obtain supplier quotations when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid ECS Gold Card
• 2391 Testing an Inspection essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• First Aid and SMSTS certifications desirable.
