Senior Employment Lawyer / Head of Department

for a Senior Employment Lawyer to head up a new Specialist Employment Law team of a well-established mid-sized regional law firm.

Location: Warwick with homeworking available part of the week

Salary: A competitive salary is offered to reflect level of experience

What you'll be doing:

This is an exciting opportunity to head up and oversee a new specialist Employment Law team

The role will involve:

• Heading up and managing a new specialist Employment Law team
• Playing a key role in shaping and developing a high-performing team
• Supervising and managing junior members of the team
• Advising clients on a broad range of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
• Managing a varied caseload, ensuring financial targets are met
• Underaking marketing and business development activities
• Client relationship management.

Who we're looking for:

Suitable candidates will have:

• Fully qualified status with 4 years'+ PQE
• A track record of managing their own caseload
• Experience of managing/mentoring more junior colleagues
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of employment matters
• Sound commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
