Are you an experienced Senior Site Engineer interested in an exciting opportunity working on a multi-million-pound Civil Engineering project in Surrey? This opportunity is to join a project at the very start!

The Company

Ganymede are currently supporting a Civil Engineering Contractor, that is offering an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer / Sub Agent, to join them for an assignment on a high-profile Civils project, from the very start, in Surrey. The company is one of the leading Infrastructure contractors working in the market today and have an excellent track record of delivering world class Civil Engineering projects.

The Role

This opportunity is to support with the Project Manager during the Early Contractor Involvement stage.

As an experienced Senior Engineer / Sub Agent, you must have experience of writing site documentation, such as Construction Phase Plans, Health and Safety Plans and Traffic Management Plans etc. You will ensure documentation is relevant to each site and reflects the proposed construction activities, site conditions and delivery methodology.

This role will focus on the ECI phase for approximately 12 months before Construction starts.

After 12 months, this opportunity has the potential to develop into a Site Agent role, where you will provide your expertise with ensuring the site runs effectively and safely. Your expertise in managing Construction Phase Plans will be essential as you ensure accurate placement and alignment of critical components. You’ll lead by example through regular on-site checks and making sure all project processes stay firmly on track.

About you

• The ideal Senior Site Engineer / Sub Agent for this position will have experience working within the Civil Engineering / Infrastructure projects.
• You will hold a minimum HNC / HND Civil Engineering
• Also required to have a SMSTS and a CSCS card.
