Senior Engineer – £50m Industrial Unit

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to join the delivery team on a £50 million industrial unit development in Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a flagship project from the early stages, working with a leading main contractor on a large-scale industrial scheme.

The Role

As Senior Engineer, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of the project, taking responsibility for engineering activities across the site and supporting the project team from groundworks through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and coordinating all site engineering activities
• Setting out and overseeing subcontractor works
• Reviewing drawings and resolving technical queries
• Producing and managing QA documentation
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and specification
• Coordinating with the Site Manager, Project Manager and design team
• Mentoring Site Engineers where required
• Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and quality

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on large industrial, commercial or logistics projects
• Strong setting out and surveying background
• Excellent knowledge of QA procedures and construction standards
• Confident managing technical issues and coordinating subcontractors
• Able to work collaboratively within a busy site team
• CSCS card essential
• SMSTS or SSSTS desirable
