Responsibilities
- Lead engineering activities and represent the function at project level.
- Establish processes for setting out, quality control, and technical compliance.
- Review and develop inspection and testing documentation for key works.
- Oversee temporary works and manage lifting operations where required.
- Carry out as-built verification, ensuring alignment with design specifications.
- Maintain detailed site records and promote digital reporting methods.
- Address Non-Conformance issues, closing out reports in a timely manner.
- Draft and review method statements, risk assessments, and groundworks permits.
Must-have Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Strong proficiency in dimensional control and survey techniques.
- Significant experience handling quality assurance in engineering projects.
- Awareness of underground utilities and control procedures.
- Experience coordinating temporary works.
- Excellent communication skills and good command of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to use digital information platforms such as A-Site and Viewpoint.
Nice-to-have Skills
- Temporary Works Coordinator accreditation.
- Qualification as an Appointed Person for Lifting Operations (A61 CPCS).
- Scaffold inspection or awareness certification.
- Familiarity with planning and scheduling tools.
- Broad technical understanding of piling, geotechnical work, and waterproofing.
