Senior Estimator

As Senior Estimator, you will take responsibility for producing accurate, competitive and commercially sound tenders. You will review drawings, specifications and schedules, identify scope gaps and risks, complete detailed take-offs and obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.

You will work closely with design teams, project managers, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure each tender is fully understood, accurately priced and clearly handed over to the delivery team.

• Review architectural drawings, specifications and design information
• Complete detailed take-offs and prepare cost estimates
• Identify scope gaps, design ambiguities and commercial risks
• Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Build detailed subcontract packages and pricing breakdowns
• Use historical project data to improve estimating accuracy
• Support value engineering and commercial strategy
• Provide clear cost breakdowns and pricing assumptions at project handover
• Manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously

• Salary of £50,000 to £60,000
