Salary: £55,000-£65,000 DOE + Hybrid Working
Location: Greenwich, London | 4 Days Remote / 1 Day Office

Are you an experienced Façade / Cladding Designer looking for a role where you can work on major, high-profile projects and have real ownership over your designs?

I’m currently working with a well-established specialist façade contractor who are expanding their design team and looking for a Senior Façade / Cladding Designer to join them.

You’ll be working on projects typically valued between £3m–£9m, including high-risedevelopments, residential apartments, commercial buildings and tall tower schemes across the UK.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

• Producing detailed cladding construction, installation and fabrication drawings
• Panel and sub-grid setting out, elevations and fire barrier details
• Carrying out site surveys and inspections
• Developing designs from surveys, photographs and site information
• Coordinating with clients, architects, engineers and site teams
• Liaising with manufacturers on technical specifications, U-values and condensation risk
• Supporting material take-offs and technical submissions
• Managing multiple projects and design deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Cladding design experience
• Strong AutoCAD 2D skills
• Solid knowledge of cladding systems, panels, insulation, fixings, membranes and fire barriers
• Experience with fabrication and setting-out drawings
• Understanding of U-values and condensation risk
• Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills
• Experience with Revit, SketchUp, 3D AutoCAD or Bluebeam is a bonus
