  • Respond to urgent operational issues and coordinate appropriate out-of-hours support where required.
  • Work closely with hotel and property management teams to minimise disruption to guests, residents, staff and hotel operations.
  • Develop practical standards, reporting processes and maintenance schedules that can be applied consistently across the group.
  • Support refurbishment, renovation and improvement projects, coordinating contractors, timelines, access and quality control.
  • Provide clear reporting to senior management on risks, priorities, budgets, contractor performance and major works.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance, compliance, contractor management, SLAs and building-services operations.
  • Commercial awareness, including budgeting, procurement, quotation review and cost control.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage several live issues across different sites at the same time.
  • A practical, hands-on approach and the confidence to inspect problems, challenge contractors and make sound operational decisions.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior management, hotel teams, suppliers and engineers.
