Description
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, delivering clear commentary and actionable insights.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning activities.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis, KPI reporting and performance tracking across the business.
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Partner with operational stakeholders to evaluate financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Analyse trends, risks and commercial drivers to support revenue growth and profitability.
- Produce high-quality reporting and dashboards for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Continuously improve financial processes, systems and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and data quality.
Profile
The successful Senior Financial Analyst should have:
- Previous experience in a Financial Analyst, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Management Accounting role.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes.
- Proven ability to perform detailed variance analysis and present financial performance trends to stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems and reporting tools.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
