Description

• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Maintain and improve financial controls and processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

Profile

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of financial reporting standards.
• Experience in the life science industry or a similar sector.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £80,000 to £85,000 dependent on the level of experience.
