Senior Financial Services Administrator

Leicester (Our Ref AL1415) – fully office based – Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm

Salary £28,000 - £36,000

My client is a well-established wealth management firm, and they are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Services Administrator to join their growing team.

This role is ideal for someone with 3+ years’ experience in financial services administration who is confident managing client documentation, liaising with providers, and supporting advisers with more technical aspects of financial planning.

You will play a key role in ensuring efficient operations and delivering a high standard of service to both clients and advisers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls and acting as a first point of contact for clients
  • Welcoming clients into the office and preparing meeting rooms and refreshments
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post
  • Scanning, organising, and uploading documents to CRM systems
  • Monitoring shared inboxes and handling correspondence
  • Liaising with providers to chase outstanding information
  • Maintaining the FCA daybook for advisers
  • Processing letters of authority and organising policy documentation
  • Supporting advisers with client file organisation and post-meeting administration
  • Preparing portfolio overviews based on provider information
  • Producing financial planning reports, including:
    • Defaqto risk reports
    • FE Analytics fund research
    • CashCalc cashflow modelling reports
  • Preparing annual review documentation, including:
    • Portfolio valuations
    • Fund performance and analysis
    • Cashflow reports (where required)
  • Assisting with business submissions and simple online applications
  • Attending meetings with advisers where required to support the advice process

About You:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 3–5 years’ experience in a financial services administration role
  • Have a strong understanding of financial planning processes and documentation
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be confident liaising with providers, clients, and advisers
  • Be able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Have experience using CRM systems and financial planning tools
  • Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with tools such as Defaqto, FE Analytics, or CashCalc

What’s on offer:

£28,000 to £36,000 salary depending on experience

28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
