We are looking for a driven Senior Frontend Developer to join a growing technology team within a highly successful and innovative business. The team is continuing to expand and is looking for engineers who want to make a genuine impact, influence technical decisions and help shape the future of the platform.

This is not an environment where developers simply pick up tickets and move them across a board. The team values engineers who are naturally curious, enjoy solving problems and think beyond the immediate task in front of them. They want people who challenge ideas constructively, continuously look for improvements and have a genuine desire to help evolve products, systems and engineering practices.

You will play a key role in developing and enhancing modern customer-facing applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript and AWS, working closely with Product, Design and Engineering teams to deliver outstanding user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining modern web applications using React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Building scalable, reusable and maintainable frontend components.
• Collaborating with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to deliver new features.
• Driving improvements to performance, accessibility and user experience.
• Participating in technical discussions, code reviews and architectural decisions.
• Mentoring and supporting other developers within the team.
• Supporting cloud-hosted applications and services within AWS.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across systems and development processes.
• Contributing to a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.

Key Skills

• Strong commercial experience with React.
• Experience developing applications with Next.js.
• Strong TypeScript expertise.
• Experience working with AWS.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and modern engineering practices.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating backend services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to take ownership and drive technical improvements.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working in fast-paced technology-led environments.
• Exposure to server-side rendering and performance optimisation.
• Experience working closely with UX/UI teams.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and frontend best practices.
• Experience contributing to technical strategy and architectural discussions.
