Senior Games Designer – Up to £90k - Hybrid role 2-3 days at a Midlands Based Office

We’re looking for an experienced Games Designer to join an established iGaming business and help shape the next generation of casino and slot games.

This is a creative, hands-on role for someone with a strong iGaming/gambling background, who understands what makes a great game and can take an idea from concept through to launch.

The Role
  • Develop original game concepts, themes, features and mechanics.
  • Shape ideas into engaging, visually-led game experiences.
  • Work with artists, developers and product teams to bring concepts into production.
  • Create visual concepts, storyboards and clear design documentation.
  • Present ideas to the wider studio and key stakeholders.
  • Research player behaviour, market trends and competitor products to inform new concepts.
  • Help adapt games for different markets and ensure designs meet relevant requirements.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years' experience in game design within iGaming or gambling sector.
  • Strong experience designing slot and/or casino-style games.
  • A strong creative eye and understanding of visual presentation and player experience.
  • Experience using design, prototyping or storyboarding tools.
  • Good knowledge of the online gaming market and current game trends.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to explain and champion creative ideas.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a deadline-driven environment.
  • UK passport holder
Nice to Have
  • Experience delivering games into North American markets.
  • Experience with Unity, Unreal, Godot or another game engine.
  • Programming experience, such as C++.
  • Experience creating game prototypes or simulations.
  • Previous mentoring or leadership experience.
