Are you a confident team leader who enjoys supporting others, keeping things organised and delivering excellent customer service?Join us as a Senior Housing Assistant and play a key role in leading a busy administration team that supports our housing services and customers every day.
In this varied role, you'll lead and motivate a team of Housing Assistants, ensuring high-quality administrative support is delivered across Customer Support services.You'll oversee workloads, prioritise tasks, coordinate resources and work closely with colleagues across Lettings, Income, Case Management and Neighbourhood teams to ensure an efficient and professional service.
You'll also be responsible for monitoring performance, producing reports, supporting process improvements and ensuring your team has the training and guidance needed to succeed.Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you'll help deliver excellent service to both internal and external customers while maintaining accurate records and ensuring key tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong housing administration, lettings or customer service experience who is looking to further develop their leadership skills within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
A Basic DBS check is required for this role.

More About You
- Experience working within housing, lettings, tenancy management or a similar customer-focused environment
- Previous experience leading, supervising or supporting a team would be highly desirable
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, colleagues and external partners
- Ability to deal confidently with challenging situations and remain calm under pressure
- A resilient and proactive approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and achieving positive outcomes for residents
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working with others to solve problems
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and housing management systems
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
