Are you an experienced HR professional looking for your next opportunity within an established and growing organisation?

We are currently supporting a well-established business with the appointment of a Senior HR Advisor to join their existing HR team.

This is a hands-on HR position with a strong focus on Employee Relations, working closely with managers and stakeholders to provide practical advice and support across a varied workforce.

The role would suit an experienced HR professional who enjoys managing their own caseload, providing guidance to managers and taking ownership of HR matters from start to finish.

What You'll Be Doing

βœ” Managing a varied caseload of employee relations matters, including absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance

βœ” Providing practical HR advice and guidance to managers

βœ” Supporting managers with employment law, HR processes and best practice

βœ” Providing guidance and support to a more junior member of the HR team

βœ” Building strong relationships with managers and key stakeholders

βœ” Supporting HR activity across multiple sites when required

βœ” Assisting with organisational change and restructuring

βœ” Reviewing and improving HR processes and procedures

βœ” Supporting HR projects and wider people initiatives`

βœ” Assisting with HR policy development and implementation

βœ” Supporting HR reporting, systems and people data

βœ” Providing wider operational support to the HR function

What We're Looking For

πŸ’‘ Previous experience working within an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor position

πŸ’‘ Strong Employee Relations experience with the ability to manage cases independently

πŸ’‘ Experience dealing with disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters

πŸ’‘ Confidence advising and coaching managers

πŸ’‘ Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice

πŸ’‘ Experience supporting or mentoring junior HR colleagues

πŸ’‘ Strong communication and relationship-building skills

πŸ’‘ Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively

πŸ’‘ CIPD Level 5 or above is desirable

πŸ’‘ Full UK driving licence
