A well-established financial planning firm based in Horsham is looking to recruit an experienced IFA Administrator to provide dedicated one-to-one support to a Financial Adviser. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and technically capable administrator who enjoys being actively involved in the financial planning process and working on complex client cases.
Unlike a traditional administration role, you will work closely with a single adviser throughout the entire client journey, supporting the delivery of high-quality, compliant financial planning advice. You’ll be involved in technical research, preparing suitability reports, analysing recommendations, and ensuring every aspect of the advice process runs smoothly.
The Role
As the dedicated support to a Financial Adviser, you will play a key role in delivering tailored financial planning solutions for clients. Working collaboratively, you’ll ensure recommendations are technically accurate, compliant, and aligned with clients’ financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated one-to-one support to a Financial Adviser, managing their client portfolio and cases.
- Dealing with pensions, investments, retirement planning and protection
- Ensure basic client reports are generated from IO using the agreed templates and that all information is validated and checked.
- Acts as main point of contact for providers) in the transfer, set up and administration of investments and policies on behalf of clients.
- Ensures that client fees and commission (initial, ongoing and ad-hoc) are set up and maintained correctly
- Maintain accurate client records and oversee the efficient processing of applications and new business.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working as an IFA Administrator within a financial planning environment.
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, and retirement planning.
- Intelligent Office experience (desirable)
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a good understanding of compliance requirements.
