Senior Internal Communications Officer

My client in Greater London are looking to appoint a talented Senior Internal Communications Officer on a Contract basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Council's internal communications and employee engagement activity, ensuring staff receive clear, engaging and timely communications that support organisational priorities, transformation programmes and cultural change.

What's on offer:

• Salary: £250 per day Inside IR35

*negotiable based on experience

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

• Lead the planning and delivery of strategic internal communications campaigns across the organisation
• Develop communications that support corporate priorities, transformation programmes and organisational change
• Advise Managing Directors, Strategic Directors and senior managers on internal communications, employee engagement and reputational issues
• Lead staff engagement initiatives including surveys, Q&A sessions, events and feedback activities

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• Extensive experience in a similar role
• Delivering internal communications within Local Government or another large public sector organisation
• Developing and implementing internal communications strategies
• Local Authority experience is essential
