Senior Management Accountant | Property

Your new company
We are working with a well-established property management business that is looking to hire a Senior Management Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced property environment, gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial assets while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

Your new role Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts for a portfolio of properties and group entities
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing key financial controls
• Producing variance analysis and providing commentary on financial performance
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and cash flow reports
• Managing accruals, prepayments and journal entries
• Supporting the year-end audit process and preparation of statutory accounts
• Preparing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting regulations
• Monitoring property-level performance and reporting on key metrics
• Business partnering with operational teams to support commercial decision-making
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and controls

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with previous experience in a management accounting role. Experience within the property, real estate or property management sector is highly desirable. You will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
