We're partnering with an ambitious, fast-growing accountancy practice in the Milton Keynes area to appoint a Senior Manager into its leadership team. This is a pivotal, high-impact role for someone ready to lead client relationships, develop people, and drive commercial performance at an exciting stage in the firm's growth.
You'll bring far more than technical strength. You'll own the commercial success of your portfolio — balancing exceptional client service with WIP, recoverability, billing and fee budgets — while mentoring managers and senior staff, contributing to strategy, and identifying advisory opportunities that create lasting value. What you'll bring:
- Strong leadership experience — leading, developing and mentoring managers and senior staff
- A proven track record of spotting advisory opportunities and growing recurring fee income
- 8–10 years' relevant UK practice experience across corporate and personal tax
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Experience running a significant portfolio as primary advisor, including WIP, recoverability, billing, debtors and fee budgets
- A record of winning new business, cross-selling and building long-term relationships
- Confident communication, including handling challenging conversations
- Experience contributing to strategic planning and firm-wide initiatives

What's on offer:
£70,000 – £90,000 depending on experience, plus a strong package: flexitime and hybrid working, annual bonus, a generous holiday allowance, enhanced pension, private healthcare, paid professional subscriptions, and a clear route to Director in a rapidly growing firm.
