Blue Legal are partnering with a leading independent law firm who are recruiting for a Senior Marketing Events Executive to join their growing Marketing team in the North West. The role offers an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a busy programme of client, prospective client and professional referrer events, including seminars, webinars, networking events, roundtables, client hospitality and corporate functions.

The Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of events from initial brief through to delivery and post-event evaluation, managing timelines, budgets, suppliers, venues, catering, AV, event materials and delegate logistics.
  • Coordinate speakers, Partners, lawyers and external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact before and during events and confidently resolving any issues on the day.
  • Develop and deliver event promotion plans across email, website and social media, working closely with the wider Marketing, Digital and Communications teams to maximise registrations and attendance.
  • Manage delegate registration and CRM data, producing targeted invitation lists and tracking registrations, attendance, engagement and feedback.
  • Measure event performance and ROI, using data and delegate feedback to identify improvements and inform future event concepts and formats.
  • Build strong relationships with venues, suppliers, event partners and external organisations, identifying opportunities to improve quality, value and the attendee experience.
  • Work closely with lawyers and department heads to develop events that support client relationships, new business opportunities and wider commercial priorities.
  • Support sponsorships, networking opportunities, client engagement initiatives and wider Marketing projects, including presentations, proposals and award submissions where relevant.

The Candidate:

  • Proven experience within professional services, corporate events or a similar client-focused environment, with strong knowledge of event planning and delivery.
  • Confident managing multiple events simultaneously, with excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work with senior Partners, lawyers, clients, speakers and external suppliers.
  • Commercially minded, with an understanding of how events can support client relationships, business development and brand awareness.
  • Experience with event promotion, email marketing, CRM systems and webinar platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
