MECHANICAL CONTRACTS MANAGER
An established and growing M&E group is looking to appoint a Mechanical Contracts Manager to play a key role in the continued development of its mechanical contracting business.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Mechanical Contracts Manager / Project Manager to join a professional, family-feel business and progress into a Director-level position within approximately 18 months.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the delivery and commercial performance of the mechanical business, working closely with the wider group to provide turnkey solutions across the commercial and industrial markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the day-to-day operations and delivery of the mechanical contracting business, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Take full accountability for the business's P&L, commercial performance and financial results.

Lead and develop the team, providing clear direction, support and accountability.

Work closely with group companies to deliver turnkey M&E solutions and independent mechanical projects.

Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, Tier 1 contractors and other key clients.

Contribute to the strategic growth and development of the business, supporting the group's three-year growth plan.

Take ownership of project delivery, commercial performance and the continued improvement of operational processes.
THE BUSINESS
The company is the central mechanical contracting business within a group of five companies, providing turnkey solutions to commercial and industrial clients.
Working directly with end users and Tier 1 contractors, the group has established relationships with major industry clients and is continuing to develop new opportunities with leading construction partners.
The business is professional but not corporate, with a strong family feel and a focus on supporting the people around it. The successful candidate will be joining a group with a stable, strategic growth plan, with the mechanical business playing a central role in its future development.
ABOUT YOU

Experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager, Mechanical Project Manager or similar, with a strong understanding of mechanical contracting and project delivery.

Commercially astute, with the ability to take full ownership of P&L and business performance.

A natural leader who can manage, develop and motivate a team.

Ambitious and driven, with the ability and desire to progress into a Director-level position within 18 months.

WHAT'S ON OFFER
