Senior Mechanical Engineer (Mechanical & Public Health) | Up to £70,000 | Fully Remote (UK Based)

Are you a Senior Mechanical Engineer with Public Health design experience looking for the flexibility of fully remote working whilst delivering high-quality building services projects?

We're working with a growing multidisciplinary engineering and sustainability consultancy that is continuing to make its mark across the built environment. With a diverse project portfolio spanning residential, commercial, mixed-use and specialist developments, this is an opportunity to take ownership of projects and play a key role within a highly flexible business.

This role would suit an experienced engineer who is comfortable leading mechanical design projects while also having a solid understanding of public health systems design, including above and below ground drainage, hot and cold water services, rainwater systems and plant requirements.

The Role

• Lead Mechanical and Public Health design projects from concept through to delivery
• Produce and review detailed building services designs across all RIBA stages
• Work closely with clients, architects and multidisciplinary project teams
• Support and mentor junior engineers
• Attend client meetings and contribute to project strategy
• Deliver sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions

• Residential and mixed-use developments
• Commercial offices and refurbishments

• Specialist and industrial facilities
• Low-carbon and energy-efficient building projects

About You

• Experience within a Building Services Consultancy environment
• Strong Mechanical Building Services design experience
• Public Health design experience is essential
• Comfortable leading projects and managing client relationships
• Strong communication and commercial awareness
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of project delivery
