£55,000 - £75,000 + Annual Bonus + 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Company Pension

Are you a Mechanical Estimator with experience in building services, looking to join a well-established, family-run business offering stability, continued growth and a long-term opportunity?

You'll be responsible for preparing estimates for new-build mechanical projects, reviewing drawings and specifications, completing material and labour take-offs and building competitive tender prices.

The company works on everything from individual houses and residential developments through to apartment schemes, care homes, schools and commercial buildings, as well as providing aftercare.

This is a senior position where you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects and work closely with design, purchasing, clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will have previous mechanical estimating experience, with a strong understanding of mechanical building services. Experience working on new-build projects would be beneficial, although commercial building services experience will be considered.

The Role

• Preparing estimates for design-and-build mechanical packages
• Completing material and labour take-offs
• Obtaining quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors
• Attending tender meetings and site visits
• Supporting and overseeing another estimator within the team

The Person

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Estimator
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services
• Experience with new-build construction projects ideally
• Commercial building services experience also considered
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical tender information
