Location: Cambridgeshire (Hybrid - 2 day per week)

We are partnering with a growing food business to appoint a Senior National Account Manager who will play a key role in driving customer growth, developing strategic partnerships and supporting expansion across UK and international markets.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused account leader who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and turning strategy into results within a fast-paced FMCG environment.



What you'll be doing

  • Develop and deliver account growth strategies across branded and private label customers.

  • Manage and grow key customer relationships, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and strengthen partnerships.

  • Support expansion into new markets and develop international customer opportunities.

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with retail and foodservice customers.

  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Finance, NPD, Supply Chain, Planning and Customer Services teams to deliver outstanding customer solutions.

  • Manage customer forecasts, budgets and commercial performance.

  • Lead customer meetings, negotiations and strategic discussions.

  • Support and develop an Account Manager within the commercial team.



What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on commercial approach. You'll enjoy building relationships, understanding customers and markets, and identifying opportunities for growth.

You'll ideally have:

  • A proven track record of managing and growing customer accounts within FMCG.

  • Experience developing new business opportunities and delivering commercial growth.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent understanding of retail, foodservice and customer supply chains.

  • Strong analytical skills with confidence working with data and reporting.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
