Job title: Senior .Net Developer

Location: Bromley (3 days per week onsite)

Contract: 12 months initially with possible extension.

Rate: £700 - £750 inside umbrella

In connection with the ongoing support and development of the Collateral business for Global Markets, we are looking for a strong Software Developer to join the technology teams in London, Bromley and Camberley working on a range of applications for GMOT.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, enhance and support a range of critical applications built in C# .NET 8.0 / 10. The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with both technical and business colleagues locally in London, Bromley or Camberley and at international locations in Singapore, India, New York and Chicago. The successful candidate will work as part of a wider development team spread between London, Bromley, Camberley, Singapore and India. Current team members will provide support to enable you to familiarise yourself with the relevant functional aspects of the development role.

You will be expected to have years of experience of commercial development experience utilising:

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc)
  • Understanding of API design and documentation
  • .NET 8.0 / 10 (C#)
  • .Net CORE (C#)
  • .NET Framework 4.7+
  • Angular (v2+), JavaScript
  • Net MVC 5.0 & Web Api 2
  • ORM (EntityFramework/nhibernate/Dapper)
  • MS SQL Server 2008+, DB2
  • Dependency injection and frameworks, e.g. Unity
  • Practical experience with TDD and CI/CD

OTHER SKILLS:

  • An aptitude for problem analysis and resolution and eye for details.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A good 'team player' but also have the ability to work independently.
  • Have a keen sense of innovation, with valuable suggestions of new ideas, ways of working and technologies.
