RJK Security Systems Ltd is a leading specialist company in the installation of electronic security, AV and home automation systems. The company has been established for 25+ years. They are an innovative installation company specialising in the exciting and fast-moving field of smart home automation and smart home security encompassing CCTV, door entry, access control and related disciplines.
We are looking for a Senior Office Administrator to join their team in Enfield. You will assist with the day-to-day running of the office and assist the Director in his daily administration.
The Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the Managing Director’s Outlook diary, scheduling internal and external meetings, and ensuring actions are followed up within agreed timescales.
- Coordinate engineer appointments for service calls and installations.
- Handle incoming telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries.
- Provide administrative support to the wider team and undertake tasks delegated by the Managing Director, including correspondence, meeting attendance, and follow-up actions.
- Receive and process work tenders, prepare documentation for review, and support the quotation process.
- Issue company specifications and quotations to clients and follow up on outstanding enquiries and submitted tenders.
- Oversee alarm monitoring account administration, including applications for URNs, chip numbers, and related customer information.
- Conduct client satisfaction follow-ups, analyse feedback, and identify opportunities to improve business processes and service delivery.
- Support HR and recruitment activities, including onboarding, inductions, staff vetting, and Metropolitan Police checks.
- Assist with internal audits, accreditation applications, and compliance with relevant certification schemes.
- Support project administration through the preparation and issue of commissioning certificates and technical submissions.
- Liaise with external IT and telecommunications providers to resolve technical and telephone system issues.
- Set up and maintain equipment, software, email accounts, and workstations for new employees and engineers.
- Provide general office support to ensure business continuity during staff absences and holidays.
- Manage the company vehicle fleet, including servicing, MOTs, repairs, and breakdown cover arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with company management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a professional and patient approach when handling a high volume of telephone enquiries in a fast-paced environment.
Personal requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience using Simpro is desirable
- Ability to multitask in a busy & demanding environment, demonstrating strong organisational skills and plan/prioritise a complex workload
- Attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Positive can-do attitude is essential, ability to work on your own initiative, and see tasks through to completion and
- PC literate – willingness to learn new systems where necessary
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Discretion when dealing with confidential information

Remuneration range and benefits available
-Salary: negotiable, depending on experience £30,000- £35,000
- 40 hours a week. 08:00 - 17:00
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (After two years' continuous service, you will be entitled to one day's extra annual holiday for every complete year of service, up to a maximum of 5 days' extra holiday. In addition, after two years' continuous service, you will be entitled to one day annual leave on your Birthday)
