Senior Production Operative

Location: Flintshire

Hours: Full-time | Shift Pattern

Salary: £39,957.71 per annum

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Production Operative to support the day-to-day running of a busy manufacturing environment. Working alongside the Production Supervisor, you will help ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while supporting colleagues and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• • Operate and set up production machinery in line with SOPs.
  • Monitor production, complete quality checks, and record results.
  • Support the Production Supervisor with training and daily production targets.
  • Carry out basic machine maintenance (TPM), cleaning, and housekeeping.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and effective shift handovers.
  • Follow Health & Safety, Quality, and ISO procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and 5S initiatives.

Requirements

Essential

• • Manufacturing or production experience.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic IT skills, including SAP or similar systems.
  • Positive approach to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Desirable

• • 2+ years' manufacturing experience.
  • Machine set-up and basic maintenance experience.
  • FLT or Side Loader licence/experience.
  • Experience working shifts.
