Senior Permanent Recruitment Consultant - Office & Commercial in Maidenhead

Vanta Staffing is looking for an experienced Permanent Recruitment Consultant to join our established independent recruitment business in Maidenhead.

We're not looking for a trainee and we're not looking for someone who simply wants to service an existing desk.

We're looking for a proven recruiter and biller who knows how to develop relationships, win business, find great candidates and turn opportunities into placements.

Your main focus will be developing our Office & Commercial permanent division across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas.

You'll also have access to permanent opportunities generated through our established Driving and Industrial divisions, together with a smaller element of temporary Office recruitment.

Vanta already has established client relationships, an active candidate database and successful Driving and Industrial divisions.

We now want the right person to take ownership of our Office & Commercial permanent offering and really develop it.

You'll recruit across roles including:

Administration | Customer Service | Finance | HR | Sales | Marketing | PA/EA | Management | Operations | Business Support

You'll also be able to work permanent vacancies across our Driving and Industrial client base, giving you additional opportunities to bill.

This is a 360 recruitment role, so you'll have the freedom and responsibility to develop your own market.

You'll manage the complete recruitment process, including:

• Developing new business across Bucks, Berks and surrounding areas

• Building relationships with existing Vanta clients and identifying additional recruitment opportunities

• Winning and taking detailed permanent vacancy briefs

• Proactively introducing quality candidates to prospective clients

• Sourcing, interviewing and qualifying candidates

• Managing client and candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process

• Arranging interviews and managing feedback

• Negotiating offers and closing placements

• Developing repeat business and long-term client relationships

• Cross-selling between Office, Driving and Industrial

• Managing a smaller Office temporary desk where required

Previous recruitment agency experience is essential.

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate a strong track record within recruitment, particularly permanent placements and business development.

You should be able to show us what you've billed, how you've built your desk and the relationships you've developed.

Office or Commercial recruitment experience would be particularly attractive, but we're happy to consider an experienced recruiter from another sector who has the right local knowledge and proven record.

You'll ideally:

• Have at least 3 years' recruitment agency experience

• Have a proven permanent recruitment billing record

• Be confident developing new business

• Be comfortable making calls, arranging client meetings and opening doors

• Understand that great recruitment is about relationships, not just posting adverts

• Know how to source and engage passive candidates

• Be commercially driven and motivated by results

• Have strong knowledge of the Berkshire/Buckinghamshire market

• Be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your desk

• Want the freedom to develop a division rather than simply inherit somebody else's way of doing things

You'll have the backing of an established business while being given the autonomy to build your desk.

We offer:

• £32,000 – £40,000 basic salary, depending on experience and track record
