This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Planner from a main contractor or subcontractor background who wants exposure to complex, high-value programmes while working across multiple infrastructure markets.

You'll provide specialist planning expertise throughout project delivery, with a particular focus on programme management, NEC contracts and change management, working both independently and alongside major contractors and project teams.

  • Providing planning expertise across major Rail, Water, Highways and Infrastructure projects
  • Producing and managing programmes using Primavera P6
  • Supporting projects operating under NEC contracts
  • Monitoring project progress against agreed programmes and key milestones
  • Identifying programme risks, delays and opportunities
  • Supporting and managing project change
  • Undertaking programme analysis and reporting
  • Working closely with main contractors, subcontractors and project stakeholders
  • Managing multiple project priorities and deadlines
  • Providing clear planning insight to support project decision-making
  • Working independently while contributing to wider project and consultancy teams

  • Previous experience working for a main contractor or subcontractor
  • Strong knowledge of Primavera P6
  • Experience working with NEC contracts
  • Strong change management experience
  • Experience working on medium to large-scale projects
  • Excellent analytical and programme management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to demanding deadlines

Experience across Rail, Water, Highways or major Infrastructure projects would be highly advantageous.

Why Apply?

  • Salary up to £85,000
  • Hybrid working with 2-3 days per week in Central London
  • Travel costs subsidised
  • 28 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Private healthcare and additional travel benefits
  • Work across Rail, Water, Highways and Infrastructure rather than being restricted to one market
  • Exposure to major contractor-led infrastructure programmes
  • Opportunity to develop specialist expertise in planning and change management
  • Varied project portfolio with long-term career development

If you're a Senior Planner with strong Primavera P6, NEC and change management experience looking for greater variety across major UK infrastructure projects, we'd love to hear from you.
