Senior Planner – Data Centre Projects

Salter Grange is currently partnering with a leading international engineering contractor to recruit two experienced Senior Planners for major hyperscale data centre projects in Spain.

Senior Planner Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage detailed project programmes from pre-construction through to commissioning.

• Monitor project progress and performance against programme milestones.

• Identify programme risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies.

• Work closely with project management, commercial and site teams to ensure programme alignment.

• Produce regular planning reports and progress updates for senior stakeholders.

• Support project controls and reporting requirements across multiple work packages.

• Lead planning meetings and contribute to strategic project delivery decisions.

Senior Planner Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Planner within construction, engineering or mission-critical environments.

• Strong background in data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial, semiconductor, life sciences or large-scale commercial projects.

• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.

• Excellent understanding of project controls, scheduling and programme management.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work within a fast-paced project environment.
