Senior Planner

Our client, a prominent player in the power utilities and distribution sector, is currently seeking a Senior Planner to join their dynamic team. This is a permanent role ideally suited for someone with significant experience in planning and executing projects within the power distribution, transmission, and rail sectors.

• Developing and managing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject
• Ensuring compliance with NEC contract requirements
• Building plans from first prinicipal to project closure
• Managing Earned Value Management (EVM) processes to monitor project performance
• Conducting Extension of Time (EOT) analysis to determine project timelines
• Coordinating with stakeholders on National Grid or Rail projects
• Utilising knowledge of DNO, 400Kv+, 275Kv systems
• Communicating progress and changes to project plans effectively
• Supporting project management teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery

• Experience with Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject
• Strong NEC contract knowledge
• Proficient in Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Expert in Extension of Time (EOT) Analysis
• Understanding of Transmission and Distribution, with experience working on National Grid or Rail projects
• Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Desirable)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities

• Full time, permanent position
• Car allowance of £5.5k
• Paying between £70k to £80k per annum
