Senior Planner: Major Infrastructure Project

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Planner to join a major infrastructure project in Snowdonia, North Wales on a fixed-term contract through to December 2028.

This is a site-based position working five days per week from the project office and would suit an experienced construction planner with a strong background in major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with the project and construction teams, taking responsibility for planning, scheduling and project performance reporting across a complex live project.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing, updating and monitoring detailed project programmes
• Managing programme change and assessing its impact
• Resource and cost loading programmes
• Monitoring progress and producing programme and project controls reporting
• Undertaking programme risk and robustness analysis
• Producing short-term and look-ahead programmes for construction teams
• Evaluating supply chain programmes
• Providing programme information and analysis to the wider project team
• Working closely with construction, commercial, design and subcontractor teams

You will need strong construction planning experience, a broad understanding of construction methods and proven Primavera P6 capability. Experience within major civil engineering, tunnelling or complex infrastructure projects would be particularly relevant.
