Senior PMO Analyst
Location - London or Leeds
Amazing opportunity to secure a permanent role as a Senior PMO Analyst based in either London or Leeds. The Senior PMO Analyst role will be working with a highly prestigious end client on a 50% onsite hybrid working model. The Senior PMO Analyst role will cover a huge range of activities, from supporting critical systems, to evolving data analytics, reinventing our online presence, introducing a fully digital workplace and maintaining and updating our property estate. The Senior PMO Analyst will join a team that is comprised of Project and PMO professionals whose focus is to deliver on our key objectives and strategic priorities, and to ensure delivery in the right way with the right people. Role responsibilities:
The role of the Senior PMO Analyst covers a diverse range of activities to support the delivery of the project’s objectives which will include:
- Planning, RAID management and Project/Programme Monitoring & Reporting - cross-referencing, analysing and challenging where appropriate.
- Identifying and monitoring key performance indicators that may highlight capacity / capability constraints and over commitment of resources or changes to particular areas
- Budget management and financial forecasting
- Arranges Board meetings and ensures critical stakeholders in attendance, produces and distributes relevant material, provides status reports. and follows up on actions after meetings taken place. Provides secretariat function at meetings, and can answer queries from stakeholders.
- Ensuring adherence to Governance processes and Coordinates change control process for Project or Programme
- Contributes to continuous improvement of PMO community;
Skills and experience required:
- Strong experience as a Senior PMO Analyst working on high priority, complex, business and IT programmes and projects
- Excellent experience of producing high quality documentation, briefing papers, reports and presentations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex sources of data and draw conclusions and derive recommendations.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) able to connect with people at all levels of the organisation with the ability to challenge constructively whilst maintaining excellent working relationships
- Able to work collaboratively across project and organisational boundaries to achieve shared goals
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle a diverse workload and prioritise amid conflicting demands and lively work periods
- Experience of mentoring and coaching team members
- Excellent MS Office skills, including Microsoft Project and Excel
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of enterprise PPM tools/ERP PPM modules such as Planview, Changepoint, Oracle
- One or more recognised portfolio, programme or project management qualifications, e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, P3O, MoR, PPSO, APM PMQ or RPP, PMP or PMI.
