Senior Prac- Mental Health & Substance misuse

Eden Brown Synergy is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Senior Practitioner to join a busy and high-performing Working Age Adult Mental Health & Substance Misuse Service based in the popular seaside town of Hastings.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled senior social work professional looking to take on a leadership role within a fast-paced specialist service, supporting adults with complex mental health and substance misuse needs while helping to drive team performance and development.

Key Responsibilities
Hold a small caseload of complex cases within the Mental Health and Substance Misuse service.
Support the Practice Manager with the effective day-to-day operational running of the team.
Provide supervision, guidance and professional support to team members.
Monitor team performance and utilise performance data and reporting tools to drive service improvement.
Ensure high-quality, person-centred interventions and positive outcomes for service users.
Assist in the development and implementation of best practice across the service.
Essential Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
Significant post-qualified experience within Adult Mental Health and Substance Misuse Services.
Previous experience working at Senior Practitioner or Senior Social Worker level.
Proven staff supervision and mentoring experience.
Strong IT skills and confidence using performance data and management reporting systems.
Ability to manage competing priorities within a demanding and fast-paced environment.
