Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking for more responsibility and the opportunity to help shape a growing team?

We're working with a well-established engineering consultancy that is continuing to grow its Belfast office and is looking to appoint a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to support that growth.

This is an opportunity to join a friendly, supportive and technically strong team where you'll have the chance to take ownership of projects, work closely with senior leadership and contribute to the continued development of the Belfast office.

The team works across a wide range of residential, commercial and industrial development projects throughout Northern Ireland.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer, you'll lead the delivery of civil engineering projects from feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction support.

Your work will include:

  • Highways design and road infrastructure
  • Drainage design and drainage strategies
  • Surface water and foul water drainage
  • Flood Risk Assessments (FRA)
  • Drainage Assessments (DA)
  • Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
  • Waste Water Impact Assessments (WWIA)
  • Technical approvals and statutory submissions
  • Earthworks and cut-and-fill assessments
  • Civil 3D modelling
  • Client liaison and project management

You'll work closely with clients, planning consultants, architects, local authorities and statutory bodies whilst supporting and mentoring junior engineers.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with experienced Civil Engineers who are looking to progress their career within a supportive and growing consultancy environment.

You'll ideally have experience in a number of the following areas:

  • Highways design
  • Drainage design
  • Infrastructure design
  • Civil Engineering consultancy
  • AutoCAD
  • Civil 3D
  • MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow or similar drainage software
  • Flood Risk Assessments
  • SuDS design
  • Technical approvals
  • Project delivery and client management

Chartered status would be welcomed but is not essential. Support is available for engineers working towards chartership.
