Senior / Principal Process Design Engineer in Hyde

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Process Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering a major programme of water and wastewater treatment projects across the UK.

Opportunities are available at Senior and Principal level, with a strong focus on non-infrastructure treatment projects alongside wider water infrastructure.

The position is available remotely and would suit an established process engineer with experience across treatment works, process plant, plant layouts and associated automation.

The Role

You'll be involved in:

• Delivering process design across water and wastewater treatment projects
• Developing process engineering solutions throughout the design lifecycle
• Supporting process plant and treatment system design
• Contributing to plant and plantroom layout development
• Producing and reviewing technical design information
• Supporting automation requirements within process design
• Coordinating with mechanical, electrical and civil engineering disciplines
• Contributing to multidisciplinary design reviews
• Resolving technical and coordination issues
• Taking greater technical ownership at Principal level

What They're Looking For

• Strong Process Design Engineering experience
• Senior or Principal-level capability
• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of process design principles
• Experience across water and/or wastewater treatment
• Knowledge of process plant and plant layouts
• Ability to produce and review technical engineering information
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination skills
• Ability to work effectively within a remote project environment

Experience across WTW, WWTW, process plant or automation-led treatment projects would be particularly beneficial.
