Build Space is recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major modular construction project in Darlington.
The project consists of 129 modular units with a total value of £10 million. We are looking for a strong Project Manager with proven experience delivering large-scale construction projects, ideally with a background in modular construction, groundworks, and earthworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for project delivery from groundworks through to completion
- Manage programme, budget, quality, and health & safety
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and client stakeholders
- Drive project performance and ensure programme milestones are achieved
- Lead site teams and maintain high standards throughout the build process
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager on projects valued at £10m+
- Strong background in groundworks and earthworks
- Excellent programme management skills
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates
- Modular construction experience advantageous but not essential
- Long-term freelance opportunity through to February 2027
