Senior Project Manager

I'm working with a leading global consultancy to recruit a Senior Project Manager to join its growing Defence team in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on some of the UK's most complex and high-profile defence and infrastructure programmes, delivering projects that make a real impact. You'll join a collaborative team working with major public sector clients, managing projects from inception through to completion.

• Manage the delivery of defence and infrastructure projects throughout the full project lifecycle.

• Support clients with project planning, procurement, risk management and programme delivery.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Monitor project performance, reporting on progress, costs and risks.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.

• Ensure projects comply with relevant industry standards and governance requirements.

• Experience delivering projects within the Defence sector or a closely related environment.

• Background in project management within a consultancy, contractor or client-side organisation.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience managing budgets, programmes and project risks.

• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.

• NEC experience

• Working towards or holding a recognised project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or similar) is desirable.

• Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance.

• £60,000–£70,000 basic salary.
