Senior Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A leading construction consultancy in London is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its expanding commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering projects autonomously to work across a diverse portfolio of commercial fit out, hospitality and leisure fit out, and retrofit projects.

The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and senior stakeholders. This Senior Project Manager role would suit a confident Senior Project Manager who has been independently delivering projects for at least two years and is looking to work on high-profile schemes within a collaborative consultancy environment. The successful Senior Project Manager will be client-focused, and confident managing multiple projects while maintaining the highest standards of delivery.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Senior Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of commercial fit out, hospitality and leisure fit out, and retrofit projects across London.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects through all stages of delivery, including programme management, procurement, consultant coordination, contract administration, risk management, project reporting, stakeholder engagement, and contractor management.

The Senior Project Manager will undertake Contract Administrator duties under JCT contracts, chair project meetings, manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee project performance, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Senior Project Manager will also build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the continued success of the commercial project management team.

The successful Senior Project Manager will have:

• Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
• A minimum of two years' experience delivering projects autonomously
• Strong experience across commercial fit out, hospitality, leisure, or retrofit projects
• Contract Administrator experience under JCT contracts
• A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a similar construction-related discipline
• MRICS or a genuine desire to achieve chartered status
• Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
