A leading property consultancy in London is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its commercial project management team. The successful Senior Project Manager will deliver high-quality office and commercial developments across the capital, working with major occupiers, investors and property owners. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join a respected consultancy and take ownership of complex, high-profile projects.
The Senior Project Manager will manage projects from initial brief through to completion, acting as the main point of contact for clients and project teams. The successful Senior Project Manager will lead meetings, oversee programmes and coordinate multidisciplinary consultants. This position would suit a confident Senior Project Manager with strong commercial experience and the ability to manage several commissions, while also supporting junior members of the team.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Senior Project Manager's role
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for delivering commercial refurbishment, fit-out and development projects throughout London.
Key responsibilities will include preparing project execution plans, managing procurement strategies, monitoring costs and programmes, coordinating design teams and overseeing construction activity. The Senior Project Manager will chair client meetings, maintain risk registers, manage change control and provide clear progress reports.
The role will also involve building long-term client relationships, supporting business development and mentoring Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers.
The Senior Project Manager
The successful Senior Project Manager will have:
- Significant project management experience within a construction consultancy
- Strong experience delivering commercial office, refurbishment or fit-out projects
- A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related discipline
- MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or another relevant professional qualification
- A strong understanding of procurement, contracts and the construction project lifecycle
- Excellent leadership, communication and client-facing skills
- The ability to manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams
- A commercial, organised and proactive approach
