Senior Project Manager Construction Consultancy in London

A leading construction consultancy in London is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in data centre projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who wants to work on complex, fast-paced and technically demanding developments while joining a highly regarded consultancy with an impressive project pipeline.

The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring delivery remains on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager who understands the demands of mission-critical environments and can confidently manage multiple stakeholders. This would suit a Senior Project Manager looking to deepen their sector expertise and progress within a high-performing Project Management team.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of data centre projects across London and the wider UK, managing project strategy, programme, risk, procurement, design coordination and construction delivery.

You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and specialist technical teams, chair project meetings, monitor progress and provide clear reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Given the complexity of the sector, strong coordination, programme management and stakeholder communication will be essential.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Strong Project Management experience within a UK construction consultancy
• Proven experience delivering data centre or other mission-critical projects
• A strong understanding of technically complex construction environments
• Experience managing multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams
• Excellent programme, risk and stakeholder management skills
• Strong client-facing and communication abilities
• A relevant construction, property or Project Management degree
• Ideally MAPM, MRICS, MCIOB or another recognised professional qualification
• The confidence to manage projects independently from inception to completion
