An established and highly respected Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their growing team delivering complex refurbishment, cut & carve and design & build projects across London and the Home Counties.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a financially secure contractor with a strong reputation for quality delivery, long-standing client relationships and exceptional staff retention. The business operates from two regional offices and delivers projects across a diverse range of sectors.

The Role

You will take full ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring programmes, budgets, quality and client expectations are successfully achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing projects from design development through to handover
• Leading and overseeing pre-construction activities
• Managing design teams and consultant coordination
• Procurement of subcontract packages and supply chain management
• Commercial awareness and collaboration with commercial teams
• Managing site teams and subcontractors throughout delivery
• Client-facing project leadership
• Programme management, risk mitigation and reporting

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within a Main Contractor environment
• Strong background delivering refurbishment, structural alteration, cut & carve and design & build projects
• Excellent understanding of procurement and commercial processes
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders through all project phases
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Stable career history demonstrating progression and successful project delivery
