Senior Project Manager
PACE Recruitment
Senior Project Manager – High-End Residential
Location: Notting Hill
Job Type: Permanent | Full-time
Salary: Competitive + Benefits
The Opportunity
Pace Recruitment is working with a well-established specialist contractor delivering high-quality residential projects across London.
As the business continues to grow its project portfolio, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to take a wider leadership role across multiple projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who is ready to move beyond the day-to-day management of a single project and take greater responsibility for project performance, team leadership and strategic delivery.
The Role
You'll work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, clients and senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, commercially and to the expected quality standards.
A key part of the role will be monitoring the overall project portfolio, providing direction and support to Project Managers and identifying potential issues before they impact programme, cost or client relationships.
You'll also be involved in client and stakeholder management, providing clear updates and helping to maintain strong long-term relationships.
The role will involve developing effective project plans, managing resources, reviewing project performance and implementing strategies to improve delivery. You'll take a proactive approach to risk management, identifying potential challenges and putting appropriate mitigation measures in place.
You'll divide your time between the office and project sites, maintaining a strong understanding of what's happening across the portfolio and ensuring project teams remain aligned with wider business objectives.
You'll also oversee project reporting and performance dashboards, providing senior management with clear visibility of project health, key risks, opportunities and performance against agreed targets.
About You
We're looking for an experienced construction professional with a strong background in project management and team leadership.
You'll need the confidence to make commercial and operational decisions, provide direction to Project Managers and deal effectively with clients, consultants and other stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are important, as is the ability to remain calm and solutions-focused when dealing with challenges.
Construction experience is highly desirable, particularly within complex residential, refurbishment or high-quality construction environments.
This would suit someone who is already operating at Senior Project Manager level and is looking for a role with greater responsibility across a wider portfolio of projects.
What's on Offer
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- Over four weeks' annual leave including additional Christmas shutdown days
- Additional holiday entitlement based on length of service
- Private healthcare
- Gym and wellness membership
- Company pension contribution
- Regular company events and team activities
- Strong opportunities for professional development and progression
Why Apply?
This is a genuine opportunity to step into a broader leadership position within an established and growing construction business.
Rather than simply managing one project, you'll have the opportunity to influence the performance of multiple projects, develop project teams and work closely with senior leadership on the future direction of the business.
