Senior Project Manager – Major Regeneration Project

An award-winning main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to help deliver a major regeneration development in Glasgow.

This is a significant, long-term project that will provide much-needed new homes and create a lasting positive impact within the surrounding community.

As Senior Project Manager, you will take a leading role in the successful delivery of the development. You will oversee the site team, programme, subcontractors, health and safety, quality and overall project performance, working closely with the client and senior management team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of a large-scale regeneration project
• Manage and support the site management and wider project teams
• Maintain control of the construction programme, identifying and resolving potential delays
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and key project stakeholders
• Ensure the highest standards of health, safety and quality are maintained
• Monitor project progress, performance and key delivery milestones
• Build strong working relationships with the client and surrounding community
• Provide clear progress reports to the senior management team
• Support the commercial team with project costs, variations and subcontractor performance

The successful candidate

You will ideally be an established Senior Project Manager or an experienced Site Manager ready to take the next step in your career.

Previous experience delivering large-scale residential, mixed-use or regeneration developments is highly desirable. You should be a confident leader with strong programming, communication and organisational skills, capable of managing complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.

You will also require relevant construction qualifications and valid site certifications, including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
