Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor

360 Recruitment are working with a well-established civil engineering and demolition contractor that delivers projects across the UK as a principal contractor.

Their work spans across demolition, earthworks, remediation and water infrastructure projects across sectors including nuclear, petrochemical, industrial, commercial and rail.

Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a Senior / Quantity Surveyor to support projects in the Home Counties, with the flexibility to work remotely and travel to sites.

The role

You'll be responsible for the commercial management of projects from delivery through to final account, working closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Cost management and forecasting
  • Managing subcontractor accounts
  • Applications, valuations and variations
  • Contract administration (NEC)
  • Monthly reporting
  • Change management
  • Final accounts
  • Identifying and managing commercial risk

What they're looking for

They're open-minded on background and keen to speak with candidates from either:

  • Specialist civils, demolition, earthworks or remediation contractors; or
  • Tier 1 civil engineering contractors.

You should have:

  • Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • A civil engineering, infrastructure or demolition background
  • NEC contract knowledge
  • Strong commercial and communication skills
