Senior Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an expanding market leader and take commercial responsibility for highway infrastructure projects delivered under the prestigious Bristol City Council framework.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will take ownership of pre- and post-contract commercial duties across multiple concurrent projects from Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) right through to final completion, you will be instrumental in project success, key client relationship management, and subcontractor governance.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:

• Have worked for Civil Engineering contractors, on highways, earthworks, drainage projects
• Have experience of preparing and administering subcontract agreements
• Produce CVR’s and oversee change management
• Have working knowledge of NEC 3/4 contracts
• Be responsible for the submission of application for payment
• Be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (or similar qualification)
• Excellent communication skills.
• Have experience of commercially managing multi-million-pound Civil Engineering schemes
• Have strong and effective communication skills

Salary and benefits include:

• £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
• Company car or Car allowance
• Attractive benefits package

Locations: You will be working from our clients’ offices in Bristol, close to M5, and be required to visit projects across the city.

Salary band: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum

Benefits package:  Company car or car allowance, 27 days annual leave (exc bank holidays), private healthcare, company pension scheme

Working hours:  Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm

Hybrid working:  Possibility of hybrid working (1 day a week) after successful probation period
