Senior Quantity Surveyor

We're looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major RC package on Teesside project.
This role is with a self-delivery contractor, supporting a fast-paced live construction environment with multiple work fronts, a large directly subcontract workforce and a wide range of stakeholders. We're looking for someone who is commercially astute, highly organised and thrives in the pace and complexity of major infrastructure delivery.

The role
You'll provide commercial support across a live construction package, including:
- Administration of NEC4 Option E (Cost Reimbursable) contract
- Cost reporting, forecasting and change management
- Management of compensation events and contractual records
- Subcontract administration and payment processes
- Commercial support to operational delivery teams
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and robust commercial controls
- Managing commercial activities across a complex, multi-trade construction environment
We're looking for
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Strong working knowledge of NEC4 Option E contracts
- Previous experience with self-delivery civil engineering, energy or major infrastructure contractors
- Excellent commercial administration and record-keeping skills
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders across a busy project
- Able to prioritise effectively and maintain attention to detail in a fast-moving environment
