Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location - Liverpool

Salary/Package - £60,000 - £65,000 + Excellent Benefits Package

Our client is a leading specialist contractor within the glazing, aluminium, curtain walling, and façade sector, delivering bespoke building envelope solutions across the UK. With extensive experience working on prestigious commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and mixed-use developments, they have established an excellent reputation for technical expertise, innovation, and quality craftsmanship.

Working alongside many of the UK's leading contractors and developers, the business continues to experience sustained growth through repeat business, long-term client partnerships, and its commitment to delivering complex façade packages to the highest standards.

As part of their continued expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the commercial delivery of multiple glazing and façade projects from pre-contract through to final account

• Preparing and managing cost plans, valuations, variations, and final accounts

• Procuring subcontractors and suppliers while negotiating commercially advantageous agreements

• Producing accurate cost forecasts, CVRs, and commercial reports

• Managing project budgets and ensuring profitability targets are achieved

• Identifying and mitigating commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle

• Administering contracts and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders

• Supporting Project Managers and Directors with commercial advice and reporting

• Contributing to the continued growth and success of the commercial function

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have:

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry

• Previous experience within glazing, curtain walling, façades, aluminium systems, or the wider building envelope sector would be highly advantageous

• Strong knowledge of commercial management, cost control, and contract administration

• Experience managing projects through the full commercial lifecycle

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• A commercially focused mindset with strong attention to detail

• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively

• Relevant Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management qualification

• Competitive basic salary of £60,000 - £65,000
