Carmichael UK is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major contractor working on the HS2 project in Northamptonshire. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key commercial role on one of the most prestigious infrastructure programmes in Europe.
Key Responsibilities:- Commercial management of major civil engineering packages
- Subcontractor procurement, administration and management
- Measurement, valuations and variations
- Cost forecasting and reporting
- Risk and opportunity management
- Supporting project delivery teams to maximise commercial performance
- Experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
- Background working for Tier 1 contractors preferred
- Experience on major highways, rail, utilities or infrastructure projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and commercial reporting skills
- Full right to work in the UK
